5 Day Money Manifesting Challenge: Day #5


Welcome to the 5th and final day of the challenge.

My goal today is to give you some last tools you might need to accomplish any desire easily and effortlessly..

Resistance Is Important, But Not That Important

I told you on day 1 that the moment you conceived of your desire, that it was already done—created instantly.

And I told you that the rest of the process is really about the resistance.

In fact, I tell every client to expect an uptick in resistance after working with me, because as you move more energy in regards to your desire, it’s natural that resistance will come up, too.

But, I want to temper that a little. What I said is correct, but people may interpret it in ways that I did not intend.

There are some schools of thought in the LOA that encourage you to uncover and release every last bit of resistance. People will dig deep into their subconscious, trying to uncover every limiting belief they could possibly have about their desire.

But how do you think it feels when you are doing this? For some, it can seem enlightening, but they’re usually not feeling very good while reliving all these beliefs.

This is all totally unnecessary, and in fact can be extremely harmful to your manifestation. 

Feeling the negative emotions triggered by your limiting beliefs will only attract more negativity—such is the nature of the law of attraction.

So I encourage you to take more of a balanced approach.

When I say that resistance will come up, I’m telling you to deal with whatever happens to come up in the moment.

However, don’t go looking for resistance to release. This is extremely counterproductive.

But you might ask, “What about the limiting beliefs?” For instance, if you have a limiting belief that money is hard to earn, don’t you have to remove that belief in order for you to receive more money?

To answer this question, I need to explain about active or inactive thoughts.

Is Your Resistance Active?

What exactly is a belief?

A belief is just a habit of thinking. In other words, it is a thought that you thought, over and over again, until it became habitual.

But the thing about thoughts is that they can either be active or inactive.

A particular thought, or belief, can go for years without ever being activated, and so it won’t affect your manifestations.

Many people believe that the world is a reflection of all of your thoughts and beliefs.

But this simply isn’t true.

I’m sure that you understand this now that you’ve read our book “Your Greatest Enemy”
This is why someone may be very comfortable financially for a long time, and one day something happens and all of a sudden, they start having money troubles.

It may be because they quit their job, tried to start their own business, aimed for a promotion, started a family, etc.

In the new situation, they had habits of thinking that weren’t conducive to financial abundance.

In other words their limbic brain started playing havoc with their “inner world”

For example, it is quite common that someone could be quite well-off, and then they quit to start a business, and suddenly they struggle to get clients in order to make money.

They likely had beliefs about the feasibility of making money as an entrepreneur, but as long as they were in a stable job, this belief wasn’t activated, and therefore it did not create in their reality.

If you ever find anything like this happening in your life, where things are going quite well, and then suddenly change for the worse, look for the belief that was activated, which was dormant before that point.

Just become aware of “Enemy – Friend” modus operandi.

So, you don’t need to go through and dig up every piece of resistance you’ve ever had.

In fact, this would be rather harmful, because the only way to discover some piece of resistance, is to activate it, and if you activate some dormant limiting belief, then your reality will reflect that.

The resistance you must release will come to you. You do not need to go looking for it.
And it is not harmful to leave inactive resistance be, because, in time, those dormant beliefs, as you raise your vibration, will just melt away.

Don’t Effort

Yes, off course you have to apply the FEED system (Your book “Your Greatest Enemy”). But after the effort comes the effortlessness. Remember!

So that means, if some bit of resistance is giving you a lot of trouble, you don’t have to pin it down until you have worked through it. That is just way too much effort.

No, if you find yourself stuck in some resistance, just get your “brain” off of it.

I mean totally off of it, not where you’re ignoring it but it’s still in the background.

Do what you have to do to totally get out of the grasp of the resistance, then just don’t worry about it.

Next time you return to the goal, that resistance will probably be smaller, because you didn’t pay attention to it.

The only thing that dictates your future manifestations is your current vibration.

It doesn’t matter what resistance may be lying dormant, or what limiting beliefs you may still hold. As long as you are feeling good, in this moment, you are creating a positive future for yourself.

So totally forget about whatever you’ve created in the past. Totally forget about any resistance that bothered you previously.

Just genuinely, authentically feel good now, whether focusing on your goal or not, and things will move in a desirable direction for you.

Instead of trying to remove those old ways of thinking, then, just actively build new ways of thinking. Instead of trying to release that belief that money is hard to earn, start finding reasons to believe that money is abundant and easy to have massive amounts of.

The less you give focus to those old ways of thinking, the more they will just melt away.

What to Expect

By now you should have the basic tools you need to create anything. There is, of course, lots more I could say, but I included as much as I could into this basic introduction, to help you start manifesting quickly
.
As you start applying these principles, you will notice your entire life start to change. Things will get easier. Random good things will start happening to you. You will begin to feel like you are the luckiest person in the world.

Good things will start happening to you, which you never even consciously asked for. The Universe will start to anticipate your desires, and so really the idea of manifestation will go out the window.

Not to say you can’t still be deliberate about a goal, but this will be a smaller part of your practice. You will just find more and more ways to feel good every day, and the Universe will bring you more and more things to prove that to you.

Resistance will always come up, but you’ll appreciate these moments as the jumping off point for greater desires, and so they won’t bother you much

All you have to do is to apply the principles I have taught this week, and as I mentioned yesterday, always lead with your emotions.

After all, why would you ever stop? These principles can and will do a lot more than just bringing your goals to you. They will improve your entire life, as long as you keep practicing them.

5 Day Money Manifesting Challenge: Day #4


Welcome to day 4 of the challenge. I trust you’re seeing great results so far!

So far this week we’ve discussed the basic technique of focusing on your goal seed, some technical aspects of how energy and resistance work, and a few ways of releasing resistance.

Today I will be discussing some general topics that tend to crop up when money is being discussed.

How the Money Will Come

One of the biggest things to keep in mind with the law of attraction is not to worry about how the manifestation will come.

In fact, I’m sure you have the experience of continually worrying about the how, and thereby sabotaging the manifestation.

But this isn’t the only thing to keep in mind. You also don’t “want” to limit the how.

For example, some people say that they want their money to come from their business, or a lottery win, or a random EFT, etc.

Then one of two things happen:

They shut one door money could come through, and so it doesn’t come at all.

Money comes through a source they didn’t expect, and so they get frustrated and then shut down the flow of money, because of that resistance.

So yes, either way the flow of money is generally shut down, because once you introduce resistance, you stop the flow.

When I first started working on manifesting money, I really “wanted” it to come through my own business. I “wanted” to feel accomplished, and like I was contributing to my family.

Well, then the money started coming through unexpected ways instead. And, I was happy about the money, but also frustrated that it wasn’t coming how I expected it to.

And so, the flow started to slow down quite a bit, because of my insistence on making it come a certain way.

The fact is, the Universe will find the path of least resistance to get that money to you. If it’s through a source you don’t prefer, then perhaps work on lessening your resistance around your preferred sources, but still acknowledge and celebrate the money that is already coming through in other ways.

As long as you are acknowledging the money that is already flowing into your life, then you can work on introducing other ways for it to flow. But if you disapprove of some source of abundance, that disapproval will only bring more like itself, which obviously isn’t a match to financial abundance.

When I started to accept the money flowing into my life, no matter how it showed up, then it was freer to flow in many different ways.

Lead with Your Emotions

This is a very simple principle, but one that I find people overlook all the time.

Very simply, learn to lead with your emotions.

What do I mean by that?

Two things, really.

Firstly, you can’t wait for outer reality to change before you can allow yourself to feel good. For instance, many people say, “I’ll be happy when I get that promotion at work,” or, “I’ll be happy once I’m no longer living pay-check-to-pay-check.”

But see that’s the issue. You have to get it in your head that emotions come first, and manifestations follow.

If you want that promotion, you must feel the feelings of having the promotion, and everything associated with it, before the promotion actually manifests. In fact, unless you do this, the promotion will never come.

If you want to start having a surplus of money, you must feel the feelings of having a surplus of money, before that surplus actually comes.

You have to turn on its head the way that most people live their lives. Most people make their emotions conditional upon what they witness in their reality. But this will not work, if you want to be a creator of your life.

If you’re down to your last R50 (Yes, I’ve been there and I know how bad that can feel), for example, the normal thing to do is to feel fearful, and perhaps even frustrated. But what do you think these emotions are bringing you?

Instead, you have to learn to find abundance where it is already, or find other ways of feeling good now. Only then will your financial situation begin to turn around.

If you wait for outer reality to change for you to be happy, you’ll be waiting a very long time.

Secondly, when I say lead with your emotions, that means not to lead with your actions, or with your logical mind, or anything else.

It may look like you have a problem, which requires a lot of action or thinking to resolve, but this is never true.

What’s true is that you felt negative emotions, which led you into a negative situation, and now you’re trying to climb back out using action or logic, neither of which will work.

What works is leading with your emotions and feeling the way you want to feel. Feel the problem resolved—or as though there was never a problem to begin with.

Once you’ve done this, the action will follow naturally, if it needs to. But you need to make the emotional shift your first reaction to any negative situation.

Homework for Day 4

Today is rather short, but the principles herein are extremely important. If you internalize them, and put them to use in your day-to-day life, things will shift for you. I can absolutely guarantee that.

In fact, once you begin this work, things will start shifting very quickly.

So for today, I want you to focus on leading with your emotions, in any situation. If you don’t like something that is going on in your life today, instead of complaining, or trying to solve it with action, just go within and feel what you’d rather be feeling right now.

Keep as your first priority all day just feeling the way you “want” to feel. Don’t rely on external circumstances to make you feel a certain way: that is lazy creating. Feel how you want to feel first, then outer reality will shift to match your new vibration. It must, for that is how the law of attraction works.

5 Day Money Manifesting Challenge: Day #3.


Day 3: 5 Day Money Manifesting Challenge.

Well we are into day 3 already. I trust that the principles taught so far have been helping you.

Yesterday we discussed the nature of the two forces behind the law of attraction. Do you remember what those forces are?

The two forces behind the law of attraction are momentum and resistance.

Remember that momentum just tells you how strong your desire is, because the stronger the desire, the more universal energy is being called in response to that desire.

And resistance is telling you how open or closed that valve to universal energy is, which you can tell by whether the emotion is positive or negative.

A positive emotion means that the valve is pretty open, and universal energy is flowing freely. A negative emotion means that the valve is more closed off, impeding the flow of that energy.

And so I said that the secret to releasing resistance is to stop disallowing the flow of universal energy. In other words, stop pushing against your own thoughts and feelings.

People often don’t understand that you can’t push against one thing, and allow another. Universal energy is universal energy.

Imagine that you’re in a boat floating down the river. Right now you may not like the scenery that’s around you, so you try to paddle upstream.

But the truth is that everything good and enjoyable is downstream. If you push against the river now, you’ll only get to more and more unwanted parts of the river.

However, if you let go and allowed yourself to go downstream, then the “unwanted” would turn into more and more “wanted”.

This is why even if you have a thought like, “Money is so hard to earn,” you shouldn’t push against that. That thought is only a reflection of where you are on the river.

But as you let go, then your natural thoughts about money start to get more and more positive, all on their own.

The reason is that a thought is just a manifestation of where you are in that metaphorical river.

That is, in more literal terms, your thoughts are a manifestation of your vibration, which is the intersection between pure universal energy, and the degree of your allowing.
I know we discussed a lot of this yesterday, but I wanted to give an analogy that might be more understandable as well.

Releasing Resistance

Now we discussed yesterday that the first thing to do in order to release resistance is to make peace with where you are now.

Making peace with where you are now just means to stop pushing against present reality.
And now you should know why that’s so important. Pushing against anything just brings you more upstream, where reality is more unwanted.

When you make peace with what is, you are letting go, and so beginning to float downstream, to where reality is more wanted.

So again, I cannot emphasize too much the importance of making peace with where you are now. It is the very first step, before you can do anything else.

I know it feels counterintuitive, but so do many of these principles. We’re not used to life being effortless, so we think we have to push against what we don’t want.

However, this won’t take care of all resistance, and so I want to give some general tips, and then some specific techniques.

Following the Path of Relief

You can only have one of two reactions to a thought: allowing or disallowing.

If you are allowing, then you are moving towards what you intend to have. And if you are disallowing, then you are moving away from it.

Now notice how I am strictly talking about allowing or disallowing your thoughts, not reality itself. That’s because we never have resistance about reality itself, only our 

thoughts about reality. It’s an important distinction, and one that deserves more coverage, but not in this particular challenge since we have so much to discuss.

So you are only ever allowing or disallowing. Disallowing is resistance, and so it follows that if you have resistance, the only way of releasing it is to start allowing.

How do you know if you are allowing? Well again, your emotions.

But there is one specific emotion to watch out for: relief. Relief is the indicator that you have just allowed a bit more, and are moving in the right direction.

If you feel relief, even just a little, it means you’re headed towards your desire.

And so when you make peace with what is, or simply start allowing more, or use the techniques I’ll discuss later, you should always feel relief.

If you follow that path of relief, you will unerringly walk right into your manifestation every time.

Worrying

Now in the area of money in particular, it seems to be easier to worry about what the future will bring.

The more dire your situation, the more you may tend to worry.

But ask yourself, is worry more on the side of allowing, or of disallowing?

Disallowing, of course. Worry is a huge form of resistance.

Now again, we are often attached to our worrying. It feels like we have to, or else our problems will sneak up on us.

But apply this to the principles we’ve discussed so far. Worrying is a form of disallowing and so as long as you are worrying, you are moving upstream, more towards the things you don’t want.

I know how it is, because I’m a big worrier myself (From time to time, in anyhow). But, I can say without a doubt that it has never resulted in anything good in my life.

So how do you stop worrying?

Making peace with what is may help a little, especially if there are elements of guilt or shame about where you are now.

But most worry is about the future, not the present.

If you can feel how you are disallowing, and lighten up on that so you begin allowing more, then that would certainly do it.

But, that is hard for some, so I will give more specific suggestions.

Before I continue to more specific suggestions, I just want to give one suggestion that helped me immensely in times of worry: don’t panic.

When I’ve been in the most dire of situations, reminding myself not to panic, and just to stay calm about everything, has been the most helpful and effective way of allowing things to shift for me.

Shifting Your Focus

One vital truth in life is that every single situation contains elements of both wanted and unwanted.

When we’re worrying, we are laser focused on the unwanted aspects of reality, or even an imagined reality, since worry is so often about some fabricated situation we’ve made up in our head.

However, nothing contains 100% “unwanted”.

In fact if 99% of things in your life were unwanted, and only 1% were “wanted”, if you would just focus on that 1%, all the rest would follow.

So we have to find those aspects of life that are already “wanted”, or tell a new story about what is, in a way, that it brings relief.

The first way of doing this is by finding an aspect that is “wanted”.

So let’s take an example where you don’t know if you’ll be able to afford the electric bill.
Now your situation could be more or less dire. It could be as simple as not being able to afford something you really “want”, and you feel frustrated about that. But I’m intentionally choosing a more dire situation to point out how this works.

So let’s say you don’t know if you will be able to pay the electric bill. That is certainly an unwanted aspect about your financial situation, right?

But now, what could be a “wanted” aspect?

Well let’s think of a few:

·         Were you able to eat today?
·         Did you successfully pay the phone bill?
·         Did you pay rent this month?
·         Do you have running water?
·         Do you have a roof over your head?
·         Do you have an internet connection?

All the above are likely to be true, and also definitely “wanted” aspects.

Again it’s easier to focus on that one unwanted thing, because it’s so scary. But with a bit of thought, you can find lots of “wanted” aspects about where you are now.

Now this has to be authentic. When you think of these other things, it should bring a genuine feeling of relief, as I discussed above. You don’t want to fake it.

But an example might be this kind of train of thought:

“Oh the electric bill is due next week. What if I can’t pay it?”

“Well yeah that’s kind of scary, but at least I was able to pay all the other bills.”

“And it’s kind of nice that I have so much food available to me to eat.”

Etc, etc.

The second thing you can do is to tell a different story about the unwanted aspect. I’ll just give an example to show what I mean.

“Oh the electric bill is due next week. What if I can’t pay it?”

“Well, the electric company has been understanding with me in the past. I’m sure we can work out something.”

Doesn’t the second thought feel better than the first?

The third thing you can do is just to go very general about everything.

“Oh the electric bill is due next week. What if I can’t pay it?”

“Well, you know, things usually work out for me.”

“I’ve been seeing so much more recently how the Universe is supporting me.”

The fourth and final thing you can do is just to distract yourself. Go read a good book, or do anything else that you enjoy.

If you can genuinely get the unwanted situation out of your head for a while, then you will feel better.

This one is often hard with money, because money is so much at the core of everything we do, that it is hard to forget about it.

So, do this only if you really can get your mind off of the situation. But if you find yourself being nagged by the worry about this situation, then do one of the first three methods.

All of the above can be categorized simply as, finding a better feeling thought.

·         To summarize, you can:

·         Find the “wanted” aspects of the situation
·         Tell a different story about the situation.
·         Go general.
·         Distract yourself.

Homework for Day 3

I know we covered a lot today, but I trust it was helpful to you.

All I want you to do for today is to apply the above techniques to any resistance that comes up.

Don’t go looking for resistance, but if you find your mind turning towards the negative, then try out these techniques, until you feel relief.

And still continue day 1’s exercise, of focusing on the goal seed.
